Pricing Guidelines

By consigning with Dandelion Kids YOU get to set your own prices! You have complete control over what the price is & also whether your items will be sold at half price on the last day of the sale.

Keep in mind you are competing with many items of similar quality, & the best price will most likely sell first.

The following suggestions are just tips to consider when pricing your items.
You are NOT required to price your items according to any of these guidelines.
Pricing is completely YOUR decision.

Price your items as if you were the buyer, not the seller. Ask yourself, "What would I pay for this?"
Be careful not to overprice. Your goal is to SELL your items, otherwise you will be taking them home with you!
Marking items for 1/2 Price on the last day of the sale will dramatically increase their likelihood of selling.
Remember, shoppers will be looking for huge deals on the last day!

Pricing Other Items

When pricing your toys, baby gear, room decor, & other items, stick to 1/3 to 1/2 of the retail price. Certain items, such as jogging & double strollers, outdoor toys & equipment, & popular baby gear are often in high demand & can be sold at a bit higher prices.
